One Person

Cheese & Onion Mash Potatoes, Sausages and Baked Beans[i]

Ingredients

  • 2 Sausages
  • 2 Potatoes
  • Half a Onion
  • Grated Cheese
  • Butter
  • Half a Tin of Baked Beans[i]

Optional Extras

  • Herb: Chives
  • Salt & Pepper

Equiptment

  • Knife
  • Frying Pan & Spatula
  • Sauce Pan
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Tin Opener
  • Cheese Grater
  • Potato Peeler

Directions
Remove the skin from the Potatoes, cut into quarters and put onto boil.
Melt some Butter into a Frying Pan and begin to fry the Sausages.
Take off the Onion skin and chop half of it into small chunks.
Drain the Potatoes once they become soft when stabbed with a Knife.
In a Sauce Pan, heat together the Potatoes, Grated Cheese, Onion and Butter and with a Wooden Spoon, mash together.
Open the Tin of Baked Beans with a Tin Opener and heat in a Sauce Pan.

Steak with Salad[i] and Chips

Ingredients

  • Beef Steak
  • Half a Onion
  • Mushrooms
  • Potatoes
  • Salad[i]

Optional Extras

  • Pepper Sauce[i]
  • Mustard

Equiptment

  • Knife
  • Frying Pan & Spatula or Grill
  • Potato Peeler
  • Deep Fat Frier

Directions
Using a Frying Pan & Spatula or Grill put the Steak onto cook.
Make the Salad[i].
Remove the Onion skin and slice with a Knife to get circles.
Slice up the Mushrooms.
Use the Potato Peeler and remove the skin from the Potatoes.
Cut the potatoes into Chips and Deep Fat Fry them.
Cook the Onion and Mushrooms using the Frying Pan & Spatula or Grill.

Tagitelle Pasta, Bacon & Onion in a Cheese Sauce[i]

Ingredients

  • Pasta
  • 3 Sliced Bacon
  • Half a Diced Onion
  • Cheese Sauce[i]

Optional Extras

  • Mushroom
  • Pepper
  • Salt & Pepper

Equiptment

  • Sauce Pan
  • Frying Pan & Spatula
  • Mixing Bowl

Directions
Put Tagetelle Pasta to boil in Water.
Using a Frying Pan & Spatula, cook the Bacon and Onion.
Make the Cheese Sauce[i].
Drain the Tagetelle Pasta of Water.
Mix together the Tagetelle Pasta, Bacon, Onion and Cheese Sauce together.

Bacon & Onion Herb Omelette with Baked Beans[i]

Ingredients

  • 3 Diced Bacon
  • Half a Onion
  • 3 Eggs
  • Milk
  • Mixed Herbs
  • Half a Tin of Baked Beans[i]

Optional Extras

  • Grated Cheese
  • Sausages
  • Mushrooms

Equiptment

  • Knife
  • Frying Pan & Spatula
  • Whisk
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Tin Opener

Directions
Remove the Onion skin and chop it into chunks with a Knife.
Cut the bacon up into square chunks with a Knife.
Melt some Butter in a Frying Pan and begin to cook the Bacon and Onion.
Whisk the Milk, Eggs and Mixed Herbs together in a Mixing Bowl.
Pour the mixture over the Bacon and Onion, leaving to cook and flip over to cook on the other side.
Open the Tin of Baked Beans using a Tin Opener and heat in a Sauce Pan.

Jacket Potato, Bacon with Baked Beans[i] topped with Cheese

Ingredients

  • Potatoes
  • Bacon
  • Half a Tin of Baked Beans[i]
  • Grated Cheese
  • Butter

Optional Extras

  • Sausages
  • Salad[i]

Equiptment

  • Knife
  • Frying Pan & Spatula
  • Sauce Pan
  • Microwave
  • Tin Opener
  • Cheese Grater

Directions
Microwave the Potatoes, turning them over when becoming soft when stabbed with a Knife.
Add some Butter to a Frying Pan and cook the Bacon.
Using a Tin Opener to open the Tin of Baked Beans and heat in a Sauce Pan.
Cut open the Potatoes and melt Butter and Grate Cheese on top of them.

Pork & Mash Potato with Parsley Sauce

Ingredients

  • Pork Chops
  • 2 Potatoes
  • Herb: Parsley Sauce
  • Corn Flour
  • Milk
  • Butter

Optional Extras

  • Salt & Pepper
  • Peas
  • Sweet Corn
  • Carrots

Equiptment

  • Wooden Spoon
  • Sauce Pan
  • Frying Pan & Spatula or Grill

Directions
Remove the skin from the Potatoes and cut them into quarters and boil in Water.
Melt Butter into a Frying Pan or use the Grill to cook the Pork Chops.
Mix Powder: Corn Flour with a small amount of Milk.
Heat the Milk in a saucepan and add some Parsley.
Add the Corn Flour and Milk Mixture to the heated Milk slowly while mixing until it thickens.
Drain the Potatoes of water and in the saucepan mix the Potatoes and Butter with a Wooden Spoon making mash potato.



Three People

Cottage Pie with Califlower Cheese

Ingredients

  • Beef Minced Meat
  • Califlower
  • Carrots, Runner Beans, Peas & Sweetcorn
  • Potatoes
  • Onion
  • Grated Cheese
  • Gravy Granules
  • Butter

Optional Extras

  • Salt and Pepper
  • Beef Stock Cube

Equiptment

  • Knife
  • Sauce Pan
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Frying Pan & Spatula
  • Casserole Dish
  • Cheese Grater
  • Potato Peeler

Directions
Remove the skin from the Potatoes, cut into quarters using a Knife and put to boil in Water.
Melt Butter in a Frying Pan, adding the Mince Meat and start to cook.
Put the Peas, Sweetcorn, Carrots & Runner Beans on to boil in a small amount of Water.
Dice the Onion and add to the Mince Meat till almost cooked.
Mix the Peas, Sweetcorn, Carrots & Runner Beans with the Mince Meat and Onion, adding Hot Water and Gravy Granules till thickened.
Drain the Potatoes and mash with Butter using a Wooden Spoon.
Put the Gravy, Meat and Vegetables into a Casserole Dish with a layer of Mash Potato on top and put into the Oven to brown.
Cut the Califlower into chunks and put onto boil until they become soft.
Drain the Califlower and keeping them on the heat, add Grated Cheese stirring occasionally with a Wooden Spoon until melted.



Three People

Potato, Bacon & Onion Hotpot

Ingredients

  • Potatoes
  • Onion
  • Bacon
  • White Sauce[i]

Optional Extras

  • Cheese
  • Califlower
  • Broccoli
  • Baked Beans

Equiptment

  • Knife
  • Sauce Pan
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Frying Pan & Spatula
  • Casserole Dish
  • Potato Peeler

Directions
Begin heating the oven to 200c.
Peel potatoes and slice into flat circles using a Saucepan too boil in water.
Cook the Bacon with a Frying Pan & Spatula until nearly cooked and beginning to brown.
Peel the Onions and slice into flat circles.
Make up the White Sauce[i].
Remove potatoes before they become soft.
Make layers in the Casserole Dish, starting from the bottom of: Onion - Bacon - Potato - Onion - Bacon - Potato.
Pour and fill the empty space with White Sauce until covering the top.
Place in the oven for 20-30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • Tin of Chopped Tomatoes
  • Tomato Puree
  • Onion
  • Tin of Butter Beans
  • Tin of Kidney Beans
  • Hot Chilli Powder
  • Mixed Herbs
  • Salt and Pepper

Optional Extras

  • Tin of Chickpeas(v)
  • Marinated Vegetables[i](v)
  • Cooked Bacon Pieces
  • Cooked Gammon Pieces
  • Cooked Chicken Pieces
  • Cooked Minced Beef
  • Cooked Steak Pieces
  • Cooked Lamb Pieces

Equiptment

  • Tin Opener
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Sauce Pan

Directions
Use a Tin Opener to open the Tin of Butter and Kidney Beans and drain of water.
Melt Butter in a Sauce Pan and heat the Butter and Kidney Beans.
Peel the Onion and dice into chunks, adding to the Heating Beans.
Open the Tin of Chopped Tomatoes and put into a Mixing Bowl.
Add Tomato Puree, Hot Chilli Powder, Herbs, Salt and Pepper with the Chopped Tomatoes and blend to taste.
Add to the Beans and heat, adding any optional extras to finish the Chilli Con Carne.



Beef Lesangue

Burger and Chips

Ingredients

  • Beef Minced Meat
  • Beef Stock Cube
  • Mixed Herbs
  • Chilli Powder
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Buns
  • Butter
  • Potatoes

Optional Extras

  • Burger Relish[i]
  • Cheese
  • Onion
  • Salad[i]
  • Bacon
  • Mayonnaise
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Brown Sauce
  • Chilli Sauce

Equiptment

  • Knife
  • Frying Pan & Spatula or Grill
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Potato Peeler
  • Deep Fat Fryer

Directions
Put the Mince Beef, Beef Stock Cube, Mixed Herbs, Chilli Powder, Salt & Pepper into a Mixing Bowl and bind together using your hands.
Create a circle shape to make a burger about 1 centimeter thick or thinner with the mixture.
Use the Potato Peeler to remove skin from the Potatoes and cut them into chip shapes.
Melt some Butter in a Frying Pan and cook the burger on both sides or use a Grill.
Heat up a Deep Fat Fryer and put in the chips to cook.
Butter the Buns, adding any Optional Extras that you may like.




Four People

Cheese and Onion Quiche Lorrane

Ingredients

  • Short Crust Pastry[i]
  • 3 Eggs
  • ½ Pint of Milk (284ml)
  • Cheese
  • 2 Onions
  • Salt & Pepper

Optional Extras

  • Bacon
  • Pepper
  • Tomato
  • Mushrooms
  • Ham
  • Potato Salad[i]
  • Coleslaw

Equiptment

  • Knife
  • Whisk
  • Cheese Grater
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Cake Circle Silicone or Tin Baking Tray

Directions
Make the Short Crust Pastry Recipe.
Pre-heat the oven to about 150c.
Grease a Cake Circle Silicone or Tin Baking Tray with Vegetable Fat and sprinkle with Plain Flour then cover with a layer of Pastry.
Add Eggs, Milk, Salt and Pepper into a Mixing Bowl and Whisk together.
Put the Pastry into the oven for 10 minutes until slightly beginning to brown.
Use the Cheese Grater with the Cheese and dice up the Onion into small chunks using a Knife.
Turn the oven up to 185c.
Fill half of the covered Pastry Dish with the Grated Cheese and Diced Onion and pour half the egg mixture ontop.
Cook in the oven for 10 minutes until the Egg Mixture begins to cook, Remove and use last of the Grated Cheese and Diced Onion to fill the dish.
Place in the oven until the Egg Mixture is fully cooked and Cheese has melted together and browned on top.



Garlic Chicken, Bacon & Pasta Salad

Sausages, Bacon, Mash Potatoes and Vegetables with Onion Gravy

Ingredients

  • 3 Sausages
  • 3 Bacon Slices
  • 2 Potatoes
  • Onion
  • Cauliflower, Carrots & Broccoli
  • Gravy Granules

Optional Extras

  • Pork Chops
  • Minted Lamb Chops

Equiptment

  • Knife
  • Kettle
  • Potato Peeler
  • Sauce Pan
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Frying Pan & Spatula or Grill

Directions
Heat Water using a Kettle.
Peel the Potatoes and chop smaller to quarters or half with a Knife.
Put Potatoes onto boil in a Sauce Pan.
Begin frying or grill the Sausages and Bacon.
Chop off flower heads of Cauliflower and Broccoli.
Peel Carrots and slice to circles.
Add the Cauliflower, Broccoli and Carrots into a Sauce Pan and boil in Water.
Peel a Onion and dice into small pieces with a Knife.
Cook the Diced Onion with Butter in a Sauce Pan until they begin to soften.
Make up the Gravy by adding Gravy Granules and Boiled Water with the Cooked Onions and stir regually.



Vegetarian

Salad[i], Chips, Baked Beans with Toasted Baguette

Ingredients

  • Salad[i]
  • Potatoes
  • Half a Tin of Baked Beans[i]
  • Baguette
  • Butter

Optional Extras

  • Potato Salad[i]
  • Jacket Potato
  • Seasoned Chicken[i]
  • Bacon
  • Steak
  • Pork Chops

Equiptment

  • Knife
  • Sauce Pan
  • Potato Peeler
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Deep Fat Frier

Directions
Using the Potato Peeler, remove the skin from the Potatoes and cut them into chip shapes using a Knife.
Heat the Deep Fat Frier and put the chips onto cook.
Make the Salad Recipe.
Toast a Baguette using a grill or if un-cooked, put into a oven and when cooked use a Knife and Butter it.
Heat the Baked Beans in a Sauce Pan.
Any of the Optional Extras are good with this meal.
